Specialist Knowledge Delivers The Goods

First Line Ltd is one of the UK’s largest suppliers of replacement Steering & Suspension components, with a range of more than 8,500 references. This depth of range is accompanied by extensive product knowledge and the ability to source the parts that workshops really need on a daily basis.

Providing solutions is key to any successful business and First Line has again underlined this strength by introducing a separate rear subframe bush for the Honda Civic from 2005>2012 – First Line part number FSK8051.

The original equipment (OE) supplier only offers the complete subframe, inclusive of the bushes, making the replacement a very costly exercise for the motorist. However, by providing the bushes in isolation, which naturally match the specification of the OE part, First Line has made bush replacement a far more cost effective and environmentally friendly practice, as there is now no need to remove and discard the entire subframe assembly.

First Line best practice is obviously to replace both left and right hand bushes at the same time. In addition, the technician undertaking the work must ensure they use the correct tooling when pressing the old bushes out and the new versions in to the subframe.
